For years we’ve covered India’s heavy-music scene from the crowd: the album launches, the festival line-ups, and the small rooms where the next big band plays to forty people. Now we’re helping run the door.

From today, organisers can sell tickets for their shows on Headtilts.

#### If you’re going to a gig

- You pay on the event page, by UPI or card, through Razorpay.
- Your QR ticket and a booking page arrive by email straight away. No account, no app.
- If a show is cancelled, or moves to a date you can’t make, your money goes back by itself.

#### If you’re putting one on

- Your show is in front of people who actually go to heavy gigs, here and on our Instagram.
- Your door staff scan tickets on any phone, and it keeps working when the signal doesn’t.
- Refunds run themselves within the rules you set, and you’re paid within 7 days of the show, with a statement of every sale.

Our first three organisers pay no commission on their first event. After that it’s 5% + ₹20 a ticket, locked for a year. We’ll set up your event and be at the door with you on the night.

One thing doesn’t change: selling tickets never buys coverage. Our reviews and reporting stay independent, and any story about an event we sell tickets for will say so.
