Knight is a traditional heavy metal outfit from Silchar, Assam. Deriving influences from the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Running Wild, Accept, etc., Knight strives to deliver true old school metal to the masses. Their debut EP titled ‘High on Voodoo’ is set to be released via Slaytanic Records, India on the 25th of December, 2017. Earlier, they premiered a track off their upcoming EP called ‘The Ventriloquist’ exclusively through Metaljesus Magazine.
The band has Shibam Talukdar on vocals and guitars who is also the songwriter/composer for all the tracks. The second half of the band is Soumyadeep Nath Barbhuiyan who handles the bass duties and has also produced the EP.
The band is currently signed to Slaytanic Records, India, and High on Voodoo is the first release under the label. The EP consists of four killer tracks that deliver unrelenting traditional heavy metal assault from start to finish.
