Delhi based Prog-Death metal outfit revealed artwork & tracklist of their second full-length album a few days ago. The double album ‘A Spectral Oblivion’ spanning 85 minutes contains 11 tracks from both the discs & is a concept album centred on a tragic tale narrated from a lunatic’s perspective.
According to the band’s Facebook page, “The focal idea of the concept is to reveal the darker realms of human thought patterns and create an empathetic outlook on disordered mental expressions of reality.” It will be released on 10th of October through Transcending Obscurity India.

The artwork was made by Intuitive Designs (Dixon Jong).
Fragarak exploded into the Indian metal scene in 2013 with their debut record ‘Crypts of Dissimulation’. The album received some rave reviews & was touted as one of the “best debuts in Indian metal” by more than a few indie music review portals. To support their release, they quickly embarked on a nation-wide tour which helped widen their fan base.
Later they toured China in support of their new album alongside some elite acts such as Narakam (China), Wolf Spider (Poland), Impiety (Singapore), Nevermore which made them the first-ever Indian band to tour that country. In 2015 Fragarak toured South-East Asia playing two shows in Penang (Malaysia) and Singapore supporting Impiety on their 25th-anniversary tour and an exclusive co-headliner show in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
