Being the oldest heavy metal event IP in Kolkata, The Pit has witnessed some of the biggest acts performing there for more than a decade now. Starting way back in 2009, The Pit is going to hold its 10th-anniversary edition this November 5th of 2022.
To mark this red-letter day of Kolkata’s extreme music, we at Headtilts in collaboration with What’s The Jam, had the privilege to have an intriguing conversation with three of the oldest metal acts of the city – Armament, Chronic Xorn and In Human, all of whom would be gracing the concert with their blazing performance.
We talked about the origin and legacy of The Pit, how it has traversed this journey of 13 glorious years, and a little bit about their music and what it means to them being a part of this iconic event.
‘The Pit v.10 – The Legacy‘ kicks off at 3 PM at the Triguna Sen Auditorium of Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Here is the excerpt from the live interaction we had with the bands and how it transpired:
