Rocka Rolla Music Awards 2024 full list of winners announced

Amidst a glamourous night of live performances graced by some big names in the industry, the Rocka Rolla Music Awards 2024 went underway at the Freemason’s Brew Works, City Center Mall in Guwahati a few days back. Across 17 categories, final winners were announced on the night of March 17, 2024, when several familiar names came up.

The winners were adjudged by a jury of judges consisting of esteemed names such as Derek Roddy, Joi Barua, Manas Chowdhary, and Vedant Kaushik. Among the major categories, Shillong’s thrash metal outfit Eternal Scorn took home the ‘Best Metal Band’ award, whereas, ‘Best Rock Band’ award was grabbed by the rock quartet Dr. DOPE, who also won the ‘Best Single’ award for their single ‘Loving You’.

On the other hand, Sikkim-based stoner rock band Guns From Countryside won the ‘Best Album’ award for their record ‘Cahoot With the Devil’. Metal outfit K3M took home the ‘Best Metal Single’ award for their single ‘Children of Lesser God’, whereas Chenie Chinthang of Black Jack (Tura, Meghalaya) and Sarbong Timung of Stab Maggot (Diphu, Assam) won the ‘Best Rock Vocalist’ and ‘Best Metal Vocalist’ awards respectively.

The awards ceremony was also glittered with live performances from renowned artists such as Rubella, Joi Barua, Mama Tips and the Band featuring Tipriti Kharbangar, and Nuini. Here is the full list of winners across all the categories from the Rocka Rolla Music Awards 2024:
