Within one week of the departure of their bass player, Kolkata thrash group Dreadhammer has already come up with a new bassist sooner than anybody has expected. Former Xplikator bassist Soumava Chatterjee has filled in the shoes of their recently departed Padmarag Banerjee.
In a recent social media post, Dreadhammer has welcomed its new bassist. In less than five years since its inception, this is the second time the thrash metal group have parted their ways with the bassist, with Suprovo Chowdhury being the first. With Soumava on-board, the Dreadhammer machine is now back to their quartet gear and it’s only a matter of time before they come up with something fresh and new to offer in this new line-up.
