KRYPTOS announce details of their upcoming two-legged European tour

1 min read

Indian heavy metal band Kryptos has recently announced that they will be touring Europe in the fall of 2022, to support their latest album ‘Force of Danger’, which was released in October last year. The Bangalore-based metal icons have decided to go on an extensive two-legged European tour which will see them perform in venues across countries such as Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands, Austria, and Belgium.

The tour, called ‘Nowhere to Run’, was originally intended to take place back in 2020, but was delayed several times in the upcoming months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This time, the ‘Nowhere to Run’ tour of 2022 will see it pan across two phases. The first phase of the tour will start in August 2022 at a show in Poland and will end on September 3rd in Austria.

The tour will again kick-off after a brief pause with its second phase starting on October 20th with a performance in Oberriet, Switzerland and after a series of cross-country shows, will conclude on November, 19 in Hamburg, Germany. Across both the phases of the tour, Kryptos will go on to headline 31 shows across 8 European countries, making it the biggest tour of the band’s illustrative two-decade career.

Their latest and sixth full-length ‘Force of Danger’ was released under AFM Records (Germany) last year to heavy reception. Two music videos were also released from the album, namely ‘Raging Steel’ and the title track itself. The last time Kryptos went on a European headlining tour was back in 2019 when their ‘Feel the Heat’ tour saw them perform across countries such as Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, and Malta.

The quartet from Bangalore has also mentioned that they’re still open to booking dates for their European tour, so don’t be surprised if they end up performing in some more venues than what’s stated above. In the past, Kryptos has performed in several prestigious metal festivals in Europe like Flammeng Open Air, Wacken Open Air, Inferno Metal Festival, Ragnarock Open Air, and Rockharz Open Air.
