The last minute of the song bears testament to a delicious thrashy section, the cherry on top being the slick guitar solo by Fabio Bertoletti. Lyrically, Demonstealer’s song is a sermon about the ubiquitous relation between death and birth, extinction and evolution. It’s a haunting celebration of the never-ending cycle of birth, death, and rebirth; the impending outcome of extinction to pave way for something else to evolve from nature.

Starting as the leader and frontman of blackened/symphonic death metal outfit Demonic Resurrection more than two decades back, Sahil has also dished out several solo records along the way under his famed pseudonym ‘Demonstealer’, which already boasts of three full-length albums and one EP (And This Too Shall Pass), the latter of which was released last year.

The lyric video of the single was edited by SonicSpawn Studios. ‘The Holocene Termination’ EP releases worldwide on December 3, 2021, via Demonstealer Records.
