Since the latter half of the last decade, Kerala-based Amorphia has gradually earned a reputation as the region’s one of the most coveted thrash outfits with its old-school uncompromising approach. After two successful studio albums, the trio has announced that they’re ready to release their third full-length record this September, which will also mark their 10th anniversary as a group.

Amorphia has revealed that the album is titled ‘Lethal Dose’ and will be released worldwide via Awakening Records. Featuring 9 tracks, this full-length album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Varun Krrishna at the Mondosonic Studios in Kerala.

The band wrote via its official handles, “With the 10 years of thrashing madness, we are unleashing our most-menacing third full-length studio album “LETHAL DOSE” via Awakening Records. It features eight fast and spine-crushing tracks, which will be released worldwide by the end of September. The knuckle-breaking thrashing madness, LETHAL DOSE, encapsulates the theme of human experiments, surgical procedures, and mental psychosis.”

“We have done crazy experiments during tracking and post-production. We wanted this to sound good, warm yet punchy. We both agreed to avoid the cold, detached sound and find a sweet spot where everything is balanced. It may not sit in a territory of being aggressive but in a way more organic.”

Amorphia has released two full-length albums, debuting with 2018’s ‘Arms to Kill’ followed by the more recent ‘Merciless Strike’ in 2020.
