Shillong Thrash metal band ETERNAL SCORN, a Shillong-based thrash metal outfit, have recently announced that they are going to release a brand new EP this October.

Titled ‘Built For Mayhem’, the EP is going to be released on October 14 on all major streaming platforms. Also, Eternal Scorn have revealed the EP artwork and tracklist, which consists of seven tracks.

Formed in 2012, the thrash quartet released their debut single ‘Nuclear Hands’ back in 2015 to critical acclaim. Then a couple of years later, they followed it up with two more singles titled ‘RCD’ and ‘Seeker Of Violence’. In 2022, the band made a comeback after a brief gestation, by dropping their latest single ‘Betrayed Sycophant’, which was taken from their upcoming EP.

Throughout the years, Eternal Scorn has performed and toured relentlessly in the entire Northeast India, thus making them one of the most sought-after live acts in this region. Taking to social media, the band wrote, “Moshing crew!! We present to you all, the official artwork from our upcoming EP entitled “Built for Mayhem” releasing on the 14th of October 2023. It’ll be available on all streaming platforms. Hard copies will also be available on the same date only at Scorn Fest”

The amazing artwork was designed by Mythology Art and the EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Four Eyed Recordings. The band is going to perform at Scorn Fest 2023 on October 14, where they will release their upcoming EP live. Here is the full tracklist of the EP.
