Hyderabad’s R.A.I.D to release new EP; announce partnership with British agency Hold Tight

Following a line-up shuffle last year, hardcore metallers R.A.I.D is all set to release their fourth record this year. The Hyderabad-based band has recently announced that they will drop a new EP titled ‘DOMINION’ this upcoming April.

After the departure of their guitarist Abishek Allapanda and bassist Sam Jaba last year, they were soon replaced by David Samuel and Amit Cornelius respectively. The new line-up synced quickly enough to enter the studio and start recording a brand new EP which is slated to release April 4, 2024.

The band has also shared that they have partnered with a British agency named Hold Tight, to promote their upcoming release ‘DOMINION’. The agency is known to have worked with global acts such as Black Label Society,  Cro-Mags, Obituary, Crowbar, Emperor, Atreyu, and Jinjer to name a few.

“We are stoked to announce that R.A.I.D will be working hand-in-hand with Hold Tight towards the promotion of our 4th release/EP titled “DOMINION.” Our EP will be out on the 4th of April this year”, said the band through their social media handle.

Hold Tight is a music marketing agency based in London, UK, specializing in Rock, Prog & Metal that offers print and online PR, radio plugging, strategic planning, and digital marketing services.

It was founded in 2010 by James Monteith, guitarist of metal band TesseracT, and then Basick Records owner Nathan Barley Phillips, the latter of whom left Hold Tight in 2018 to join Nuclear Blast Records. Currently, James Monteith and Lisa Coverdale act as the Directors of the agency.

Formed in 2016, R.A.I.D is a hardcore/crossover thrash metal band hailing from Hyderabad, India known for their punchy grooves and old-school hardcore influences. Since then, they have put forth three releases with 2022’s ‘Defiance’ being the last one. Their debut record ‘The Strong Survive and their sophomore record ‘Imperium ’ came out in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
